The Graduate Studies Course in Occupation Studies (CPGEO) aims to:
I - qualify professionals for research activities in order to carry out teaching and research activities in the field of Occupation Studies, aiming to advance knowledge in this field;
II - offer an opportunity for critical reflection on the relationship between people and occupations in different contexts, aiming to promote the advancement of the area of knowledge;
III - provide deeper knowledge in Occupation Studies, ensuring the transversality of this knowledge;
IV - produce qualified knowledge about Human Occupation in dialogue with the national and international scientific community;
V - encourage research that contributes to the scientific advancement of Occupational Therapy;
VI - favor scientific exchange with other areas, departments and educational institutions;
VII - encourage the translation of knowledge, aiming at the synthesis, dissemination and application of knowledge about Occupation Studies in order to provide more effective care services.
