She has a degree in Occupational Therapy from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG (1998), with a specialization in Upper Limb Rehabilitation from Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Minas Gerais (FCMMG) in 2001, a specialization in Assistive Technology from FCMMG in 2005, and a specialization in Teaching in Health at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in 2015. Master of Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) in 2006 and Doctoral Degree in Sciences from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) in 2016. She is currently an Assistant Professor I at the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Institute of Health Sciences at Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro - UFTM. She has experience in the area of physical rehabilitation (neuropediatrics), hand therapy and assistive technology, working on the following topics: self-help equipment, orthotic devices, postural adjustment in wheelchairs and accessibility.
