Faculty - Adriana Maria Valladão Novais Van Petten

She holds a degree in Occupational Therapy from Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Minas Gerais (1987), a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2002) and a Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2007). She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. She has experience in the area of Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis on Upper Limb Therapy, working mainly on the following topics: assistance technology, orthoses, materials, evaluation, composites, function and dysfunction.
