Faculty - Ligia de Loiola Cisneros

She has a degree in Physiotherapy from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1990), a master's degree in Biological Sciences (Physiology and Pharmacology) from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1999) and a Doctoral degree in Education from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2005). She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. She works in teaching, research and extension in the area of knowledge of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, on the following topics: electrotherapy, therapeutic patient education, diabetic neuropathy and peripheral arterial disease. Participates as a researcher in the research group "Circulation Studies", of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). (Text provided by the author).
