Faculty - Iza de Faria-Fortini

Iza de Faria-Fortini is an Occupational Therapist, with a Doctoral degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from UFMG. She has a master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences (UFMG), specialization in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation (USP) and specialization in Occupational Therapy - emphasis on gerontology (UFMG). She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at UFMG and a researcher at NEUROGroup (UFMG). She worked as an occupational therapist at Hospital das Clínicas/UFMG/EBSERH Branch (2015/17), assistant professor at Faculdade de Minas (2011/14), substitute professor at the Department of Occupational Therapy at UFMG (2013/14) and assistant professor at the University FUMEC (2008/11). She has experience in the area of Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis on neurological rehabilitation of adults and elderly people, working mainly in the processes of assessment and functional intervention of adults and elderly people.
